Psychotherapy
At Rocky Mountain Healing Center, we believe in the inherent wisdom of the individual. Therapy thus serves as a road map, illuminating the path to increase clarity and awareness of one’s choices. Our approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, and focused on creating a safe container, emphasized by an attitude of respect for our shared humanity, and acceptance of your perceptions and world-view. Pathology and psychiatric illness is viewed as signals of imbalance from the psyche. Together, we will travel the journey to a place of acceptance and healing.
Ultimately, it is through human connection that one can foster the encouragement needed to take courageous steps toward seeing an old pattern through a new perspective, and creating positive change. We believe in empowering clients to focus on their strengths, in order to discover new and more useful patterns of behavior. Our intervention strategies are integrative, ranging from cognitive-behavioral therapy to mind-body techniques, tailoring treatment to address the individual needs of each client.
