Jon Cacherat, L.Ac.

Jon Cacherat is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in Colorado. Starting his career in holistic medicine over 15 years ago, Jon has become a specialist in the applications of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to muscular issues and sports medicine.

In 2001, Jon graduated from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College with an accredited Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). This rigorous 3,200 hour graduate program provided advanced training in both traditional and modern Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism. Jon also holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture after passing the national board certifications of the NCCAOM (National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and oriental Medicine) – this is the highest gold standard credential for Acupuncturists in the world. Jon’s training includes an Acupuncture internship with the Boulder County AIDS Project. Jon is certified in Clean Needle Technique.

Jon has focused his Acupuncture expertise in musculoskeletal health, physical fitness, sports medicine, and repetitive motion/ergonomic injuries. Jon is one of the few Acupuncturists in the USA with this specialty. Some of the musculoskeletal conditions that Jon treats include: tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndromes, achilles tendinitis, DeQuervain’s Syndrome, shoulder/rotator cuff injuries, neck pain, piriformis syndromes, and many others.

Additionally, Jon is fully qualified to apply Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to other internal medicine issues.

Jon has lived in Colorado since 1974. He is a runner, swimmer, and weight-lifting enthusiast.
